I purchased this item for some research into hardware items available to the settlers of the frontier West. It was a very entertaining catalogue in that it shows clothing styles and accessories as well. I was amazed at the number of pages that were dedicated to jewelry, watches, buttons and "notions" as they were called. The prices of items were also a fun realization. Good source book and a very entertaining read.

I thought, from reading the reviews, that this book would offer a far more comprehensive selection of early Sears Roebuck products. After the first several dozen watches, I was pretty much done. I wanted household merchandise, women's clothing, hats, furnishings, etc. I got a LOAD of watches and guns, mostly.

The book is interesting. However it is limited primarily to clothing, guns, and jewelry/watches. The actual Catalogue is more comprehensive than this one.

Too many watch's, not the complete catalog.

Missing lots of products.

Awesome, wonder if I can still order from it! LOL

No toys, no dolls. As an avid fan, I was disappointed
