I love anything Sammy. Have tried some of the recipes and they are good. Love the stories, but I almost wish it had more recipes and less stories. I love the fact that he didn't edit out the blue language - by god I pay for it I wanna read it in his words, not from an editor eyes. Brings it to a personal level for me. It does give the reader a glimpse into how Sammy became a foodie, and how his culinary tastes have evolved over the years. Enjoyable read for the Sammy fan.

Not sure who packaged this book for shipping but it must have been dropped several times. Each corner is bent/smashed and there's a large gouge/scratch across the front cover. Not sure if this book was returned from a previous purchaser but I'm too embarrassed to gift it now :(

Good stories. I don't know how good the recipes are to make. I bought it as a gift and just thumbed through it. Good pictures and interesting anecdotes.

Item was a gift for a Hagar fan, who is also a BBQ afficiando. Recipient really likes the book.

This is exactly what you'd expect. Old stories about the glory days of being a rock star followed up with some pretty basic home-cook recipes.
