Good guide for Athens. Not a guide for Greece at all. Says nothing about Thessaloniki and Macedonia, the Northern region. The book title is very misleading.

We bought this book for our upcoming trip to Greece. Like all of Rick Steves' books, it is not very thorough. He will go into minute detail about one area, and then skip vast other areas that should be covered. He needs to rename his books to not include the name of the country when it only covers certain cities. Like calling it Rick Steves USA, and then only covering NYC.

I’m heading to Greece in the fall and this guide has help me prepare for the free days of travel I will have on the trip.

Book has tons of helpful data for Athens primarily and the surrounding islands. I will review again after I travel.

Purchased and gave as a gift, recipient travels extensively and was pleased with the content of the book.
