The book is good as far as textbooks go. BUT!!! If you need a version with the online WileyPlus access code, this one does NOT include it. So if that's why you're buying it, look for a different version. I bought this thinking the code would be included (it's brand new, and didn't say it wasn't included), and turned out to have to shell out more money later for the code as well.

The book had some good content, but it was really difficult to understand some topics. Some of the topics that we're covered in this book went in circles. To me and a lot of my fellow college classmates felt as if it never reached a conclusion. So if you're going to purchase this book, make sure your professor knows a lot about their Cell Biology knowledge to make sure your not confused if this book doesn't make sense.

The Kindle book is okay, but it is just a PDF that was run through an algorithm. It doesn’t have the questions and answers available in its online counterpart. It does not have links to the videos it cites in its text. The X-ray feature is frankly not as useful as the usual “search” function in iBooks. The flashcards don’t sync across devices.
